According to local sources, the upcoming NICVD Chest Center will provide diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients suffering from cardiovascular and chest-related diseases. The facility is expected to significantly reduce the need for patients to travel to Karachi and other major cities to obtain specialized medical treatment.
Residents and community representatives have welcomed the approval, describing it as a long-awaited initiative that will benefit thousands of patients by ensuring timely access to quality healthcare closer to their homes. They expressed hope that work on the project would begin at the earliest and be completed without unnecessary delays.
Healthcare experts believe the establishment of the center will strengthen the region's medical infrastructure, improve emergency cardiac care, and reduce the financial burden on families seeking specialized treatment outside the district.
Speaking on the occasion, local stakeholders appreciated the efforts of MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi, stating that the project reflects a strong commitment to improving public health and addressing one of the region's most pressing healthcare needs.
The approval of the NICVD Chest Center is being viewed as a significant step toward enhancing healthcare services in Shahdadkot and ensuring better medical facilities for residents of the district and neighboring communities.
