Supporters of MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi Call for Rule of Law in Municipal Affairs

SHAHDADKOT: Supporters of MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi have urged the public not to politicize the ongoing dispute between a contractor and the Municipal Corporation, saying the matter should be resolved strictly in accordance with the law.

They maintained that Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi has consistently advocated transparency, legal compliance, and good governance in public affairs. According to them, any attempt to associate his name with the contractor merely because the contractor belongs to the Magsi community is unfair and misleading.

Supporters emphasized that municipal contracts are awarded through a legal process that includes public advertisement, open competitive bidding, and scrutiny by the relevant municipal committee. They argued that contracts should always be awarded on merit and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, ensuring the best value for the public and the municipality.

They further stated that if any individual or organization has concerns regarding the bidding process, those concerns should be addressed through the appropriate legal and administrative channels rather than through public accusations or political rhetoric.

Expressing confidence in Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi's leadership, supporters said he has consistently worked for peace, development, and institutional strengthening in Shahdadkot. They credited his leadership with promoting stability and encouraging dialogue to resolve public issues.

The supporters also appealed to all political groups, community leaders, and citizens to avoid inflammatory statements that could create unnecessary divisions. They urged stakeholders to allow the competent authorities to resolve the matter transparently and in accordance with the law.

Concluding their statement, they stressed that the issue is an administrative matter between the contractor and the Municipal Corporation and should not be used to target individuals or communities. They called for restraint, respect for legal procedures, and a collective commitment to maintaining peace and harmony in Shahdadkot.

MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi's Tireless Efforts Lead to Approval of NICVD Chest Center for Shahdadkot

SHAHDADKOT: Shahdadkot is set to receive a National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) Chest Center after the project received official approval, a development widely regarded as a major boost to the district's healthcare infrastructure.

The approval has been attributed to the sustained efforts of MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi, who consistently pursued the establishment of the facility to improve access to specialized healthcare services for the people of Shahdadkot and adjoining areas.

According to local sources, the upcoming NICVD Chest Center will provide diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients suffering from cardiovascular and chest-related diseases. The facility is expected to significantly reduce the need for patients to travel to Karachi and other major cities to obtain specialized medical treatment.

Residents and community representatives have welcomed the approval, describing it as a long-awaited initiative that will benefit thousands of patients by ensuring timely access to quality healthcare closer to their homes. They expressed hope that work on the project would begin at the earliest and be completed without unnecessary delays.

Healthcare experts believe the establishment of the center will strengthen the region's medical infrastructure, improve emergency cardiac care, and reduce the financial burden on families seeking specialized treatment outside the district.

Speaking on the occasion, local stakeholders appreciated the efforts of MPA Nawabzada Mir Nadir Ali Khan Magsi, stating that the project reflects a strong commitment to improving public health and addressing one of the region's most pressing healthcare needs.

The approval of the NICVD Chest Center is being viewed as a significant step toward enhancing healthcare services in Shahdadkot and ensuring better medical facilities for residents of the district and neighboring communities.
